Cherish, 4 sisters from Atlanta burst onto the R&B scene last summer with 'Do It To It', had a flop of a second single in the way of 'Unappreciated' and their third single 'Chevy' was cancelled! So things weren't lookin too good for the four sisters, so it looked like they had to step up the game for their next record! So have they? The answer has to be no! They have gone way too pop for their fanbase I think and they should have focussed on creating a quality R&B tune that will propell them to the top! Oh well, the track itself is not too bad, but I feel they could done much better! What do you guys think? Please please let me know I love hearing all your thoughts and opinions!

Here is the new video to Beverley Knight's second single from her amazing Music City Soul album! The video I think is really nice because it is natural and easy to watch! The song itself is not the best single choice but let's hope this single does better than No Man's Land which failed to enter the UK Top 40 singles and gained a position of #43! X Factor winner, Leona Lewis has been forced to halt her plans to crack America after falling ill due to her chaotic recording schedule. The singer - who landed a $10 million record deal in the US after her triumphant victory on the British TV talent contest in December last year, is suffering from tonsillitis; and Stateside producers have insisted that the singer temporarily rests her voice and returns to the UK. Her father, Joe says, “She has been overdoing it. The expectations on her are so great. She’s in the studio every day, late into the night. Now her producers have stopped until her voice gets better." This week also saw Leona win a prestigious Ivor Novello award for Best Selling British Single with 'A Moment Like This'. Congratulations to her, it's a really high accolade! I really like this girl and voted for her to win last year but shehas been quiet but it seems an album is due for a September release date! What do you guys think of Leona?
This week has been such a great week for video premieres and today we get the first video from Kanye West's upcoming 'Graduation' album. The video is OK! I wouldn't it shouts out COMEBACK but it does the job and I'm sure will get heavy rotation on music channels not only in the US but also here in the UK! Also you can download the video for your iPod in the US iTunes store for FREE!! I am so jealous that the UK can't download it! Let me know if you download it!

I'm really happy that the 50 Cent album cover has changed cos' I didn't really like the other one! I also prefer what many are calling the 'Alternative' cover for Kelly Clarkson's upcoming 'My December' album, it suits the title more as the snowy white reminds me of December! Enrique's lbum cover is quite slick, like his great video's, but although he has great video's his songs tend to dissapoint!
Having had much success on his first album, "Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor," including three Grammy nominations, Lupe has been in the studio, hard at work recording his sophomore album "The Cool." Fiasco has revealed that he is shooting for an Oct. 31 release via label 1st & 15th/Atlantic. Lupe earlier revealed that he is trying to recruit members of the band Pink Floyd to make an appearance on the upcoming album, but Fiasco has said,
"Nothing has developed yet. But once the stew gets swirling and people start talking, you never know. I hope it does work out."
Fiasco has been busy at work, with performances at Lollapalooza in early August at Chicago and the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle. Along with his live appearances, Lupe has also worked on Japanese artist Big O's track entitled "City Wings," a remix of Musiq's popular track "B.U.D.D.Y.," and he has appeared on a track by labelmate Kevin Michael, entitled "We All Want The Same Thing." Seems R. Kelly has gone all thuish now he's turned 40! But to begin with I wan't really liking the image but now paired with the back cover t seems to suit quite well! I like the plate of bling he has on the table. I know the album has leakes but I will NOT be posting it! You wanna know why? Because Kels is one of my ultimate all-time fave artists and I want to make sure people buy the album when it hits stores next week, myself included, even though I woul buy the CD either way, I don't wann hear it before I get it! C'mon Kels! I hope he gets a Billboard & UK #1 position! Please let me know what you think of the artwork!
This is NOT his next single, yet he has a better video for ths than his debut 'Give It To Me'? I don't really understand that! But as for this video I am loving it! The 'Sin City'/'Timb City' ibe he got going on is great! Also the video for his second 'Shock Value' single, 'The Way I Are' feat. Keri Hilson has been shot on May 19 and will premier within the coming weeks!

As I announced yesterday on my NEW regular feature 'Upcoming Music Video Premiere's', Eve will premiere her new video soon and here are the first HQ video stills! From what I can see the video looks to be quite fun! I didn't expect this from the video, I thought it would be darker, the second and third photos are the only one which I can see fitting the video, but then again I am still really looking forward to seeing the new video from E-V-E!
I know what some of you may be thinking! You like R&B and Hip Hop, so why are you posting country music? Well let me tell you why! Over here in the UK, LeAnn Rimes is not known as a country singer as the albums she releases over here ar more pop and her last European album 'Whatever We Wanna' was truly amazing and reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson! So her new album, Family is due out in August, but I am unsure whether it will be released in Europe, cos she tends to release a pop album in Europe then a country album in the US! This track is very good and I really do like her and her video premiered today over at CMT.com so check that out here, and then drop back to tell me what you think!
