I cannot contain my happiness! In a recent interview with Beyonce's father, or more importantly manager, Matthe Knowles! Plans of a BRAND NEW Destiny's Child album for next year were hinted at! Matthew Knowles made a point to release this news himself so it looks set theat it is TRUE! Good on Matthew, I guess the rumours about him and Kelly splitting up are unfounded! This is so great news and the news I was waiting to hear ever since they anounced their split in Barcelona a few years back! I am so eager to her what their new material will sound like! Forget Britney Spears, THIS IS THE COMEBACK OF THE YEAR! The girls have been spending a lot of time together and even I though their could be a new record on the way when they performed at the BET's! UK REP'S MUSIC NEWS CATCH UP!

This is my post just to catch up on the HOTTEST music news that happened while I have been away on holiday! I hope you enjoy them! After a lot of negative press surrounding her third album 'My December', Kelly Clarkson has decided to patch things up with Clive Davis and agree to record a new pop album with a sound similar to her debut 'Thankful' and the album could be released as soon as 2008! This could mean the end of her career or it could enlarge her fan base! I am not sure whether this is a good move or not, but any new material by Kelly should be good! What do you think?

Kelly Rowland recently confirmed that she will release 'Comeback' in the US and 'Work (Put It In)' in the UK! She has already shot both video's and they are both set to leak soon! After dissaponting sales of her sophomore record this could be just what she needs! While I was away on holiday I fell in LOVE with 'Work (Put It In) and it quickly became the MOST PLAYED trck on my iPod (hence it is my track of the day today!) it has such an upbeat feel and sounds in a similar vein to that of Beyonce! What do you think of the single choices? Good? Bad? What would you like her to release next?

Timbaland over the past two weeks has made a huge impact on the UK! His album 'Shock Value' was released back at the end of March and peaked in the UK at a rather dissapoining number 18 position! Weeks and weeks went by and sales dropped despite having gained a numver one single with 'Give It To Me'! But then, as soon as 'The Way I Are' was beng rotated on the music channels his album began to creep back up the charts as did the single itself! And two weeks ago, the album peaked at a number 5 position which was GREAT news for Timbo, after threatening to quit the music industry. I also think this is good news for Keri Hilson as now EVERYBODY know her name and this should help her solo career really take off! And just when we thought things couldn't get better, last week he topped the UK singles chart ending Rihanna's record breaking 10-Week run, and his album peaked at an AMAZINGLY high number 2 spot! Could he ave the number one album next week? Only time will tell! Finger crossed? Are you happy for his recent success in the UK?

The Pussycat Dolls have unveliled plans for the Season Two of 'Search For The Next Doll' the follow up to the flop that was Season One! I mean Asia knew what she was getting herself in to! So why decide to pursue a solo career instead of join the band and ruin the whole programme! I don't think her solo career will succeed! Anyway, Season Two is set to air in the Autumn and the girls are now looking to form a new girl group on the show to avoid further embaressment!

Rihanna had an AMAZING ten-week run at the top of the UK Singles Chart beatng the record for the longest number one in the past decade set by Gnarls Barkley last year who made it 9 weeks at the top! This week however she was knocked of the top and dropped down to number a till respectble 3 with 'Shut Up And Drive' making a surprise entry at number 18 on downloads alone FIVE weeks ahead of it's physical CD release! This is great news for Rihanna after record bosses were thinking of scrapping the song for another track after it did not perform well in the Billboard Charts in the US! Also her album is continuing to creep up the UK Albums chart and is now at number 10 after topping the Album chart back in June! What do you think of her runaway success in the UK? Thanks to one of my great visitors, I can now reveal that her BRAND NEW single 'Bad Girl (At Night)' will be released mid-August with a dancehall influenced album to follow! I know this is great news for very many of you as you were really feeling her new track when the download was up for a limited period! The past few weeks have been busy for Ms. Maffia because as well as appearing at several UK movie premiere's she has also shot her new music video, which you can see a sneak peek of here!

Yesterday, Kelly co-hosted TRL to mark the release of her sophomore album 'Ms. Kelly' which was released yesterday in the US and last week here in the UK! She looked absolutely great and I hope she gets the top spot on the Billboard 200 next week, and if she doesn't then T.I. should! To see pictures of Kelly at TRL just click here! So it looks as though Britney's new single could be released as early as this Saturday (July 7)! I hope that this is true as I am eager to see what her new material sounds like! If this appears not to be true, and a new single does not leak on Saturday, then I guess the rumours that no ew material will surface until 2008 are true? What would you like to believe? Do you think she can still have a successful music career?

After months of speculation, the answer is YES Christina Aguilera is expecting her first child with her husband Jordan! Her dad was the one who released the news, and this is what he said; "I'm so excited. I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world." She is said to be thrilled and would like to follow the example set by Gwen Stefani who has mixed a great music career with being a great mother! This is great news for Christina and I wish her eery success in the world and cannot wait to see the baby! Congratulations!

Michael Jackson's long time rep, Bain has spoken out about his new album! He has said this; "He is going to release several singles prior to the album being released. He’s finishing up the first 3-4 now' and the singles will be released before the end of the year!" This is great news and I hope it is true! With Michael's album set to drop in November the singles are set to leak very very soon, so keep it locked to UK Rep for the FIRST listen! What are you expecting from Michael's new material?

Jordin Sparks has started working on her forthcoming debut album scheduled for release before thanksgiving, and among the producers snagged for the project are Stargate. Here’s what the American-Idol winner had to say about her sound; "It’s going to be a "radio friendly" album that mixes the pop/rock sound of inaugural "Idol" Kelly Clarkson with the R&B edge of Beyonce. It's hard to get at what my sound is, but I think that's what I'm trying to get." I am really looking forward to her debut album and am interested in hearing her sound! I love Kelly Clarkson and Beyonce so I think the sound will suit her as I believe she can do both sounds! Are you anticipating her record?


Looks as though any hopes for 'You Spin Me Round' as a Summer single has been slashed as her latest movie 'Blonde Ambition' has been pushed back from August 3 to August 31 by her father/manager Joe Simpson who believes there is too much competition in August for her film to do well! 'You Spin Me Round' was meant to be the promo single for the film, I hope this will still be the case as she has not done enough with her 'Public Affair' album! What do you think?

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this track! And I am so glad it has been chosen to be the second single off of her great sophomore effort 'Ms. Kelly'! After holding an online poll on AOL, 'Comeback' was chosen as the second single and I think it's a great idea! The track is punchy, catchy and a definite club banger! I cannot praise this track enough! Just download it if you haven't got it already and find out for yourself! Please share your thoughts and opinions whether you agree or disagree!

• Rihanna has held on to the top spot of the UK charts with 'Umbrella' featuring Jay Z for an AMAZING 7th week, making it the longest running number one this year!

• The Editors have snatched the top spot in the UK album chart from the White Stripes who fall to 4!

• One of my fave new artists for 2007 Kate Nash makes an impressive debut with her single 'Foundation' at number two only narrowly missing the number one spot from Rihanna!

• Kelly Rowland has a dissapointing number 37 position for her sophomore album 'Ms. Kelly'! This is really bad news for her and I hope she climbs next year as the album is really really good!

• Going straight in at number 18 on downloads alone is Timbaland with 'The Way I Are'! This is impressive and I am glad that weeks ahead of physical release the song has charted! Good on him!

• The sophomore album from Ms Kelly Clarkson makes it's debut at number 2 in the UK Album chart, which makes it he highest charting CD in the UK as 'Breakaway' peaked at 3!

UK REP HAS JUST DIED AND GONE TO DC HEAVEN!

I just HAD to post these photographs! How gorgeous do they all look! I am so glad to see the three DC members back together even if it just for the red carpet and to appear on stage together for a minute! I really hope the girls get back to the studio together and record a new album! In a recent UK interview Beyonce said 'because we're friends we could make another album' and Kelly said 'if we were to make another album we would let the UK know first as the UK fans are the best!'. Things are looking good for a reunion! Would you like to see DC3 back together in say a years time after Beyonce and Kelly stopped promoting their albums? Please let me know what you think!

OK, so now you've seen the better$ performances, I would like to know what you think please! I personally think that Beyonce looked, danced and sang amazingly in a stunning gold outfit, Kelly did a good job as well but the cream was put on the cake when Michelle and Solange joined Kelly & Beyonce on stage and Eve making an appearance was great as well! Moving on to Robin Thicke, this guy is making a big name for himself now in the UK and this performance was heartfelt, I like it! Then we got Ciara who unfortunately looked better than she sounded, I feel that whenever CiCi performs this is the case, but she gave a great performance and it was good to see my fave song 'That's Right' performed with Lil' Jon! Then we end wiv T.I. who in my book can't do a thing wrong recently! Major propz to T.I.!

Will.i.am Sings Songs About Girls

Will.i.am is on the verge of releasing a solo album! The album will be called 'Songs About Girls' and will be released September 25! The first single, 'I Got It From My Mama (Genetics)' is gonna drop in the next week or two! He describes the track as uptempo and a warning to fellas! Unusually, he is going to tour theatres to promote the album and not only that but he is flying to Brazil to shoot a movie to accompany his promotion and it will accompany the album! He also confirmed a new Black Eyed Peas album for 2008! This is great news and I cannot wait to hear the new material and I will post the first single here FIRST! Source

Is T-Pain Gay?

T-Pain is apparently a homosexual, there is nothing wrong with this but I feel an artist should be true and not sing about topics they cannot relate to. When listening to his new album this week I noticed a lyric in his track '69' which said 'Hit me on the hotline and Ima slob on the knob' which is a well known slang term for a homosexual act! This shocked m but linked to what he said about Ray J's manhood a few weeks ago it looks like it could be true! What do you think?

Beyonce Might Reunite DC3 on Tuesday!

Organisers of this weeks BET Awards have announced that Beyonce will perform 'Get Me Bodied' with as a special collaboration. This seems like a logical time to reunite the trio as Kelly is also said to be performing! I would love to see all three ladies back on stage together! Would you? Do yout think this could happen? Lauryn Hill Puts Fugees Reunion On Hold For Her 2nd Solo Album!

Any plans for a Fugees reunion have been wel and truly scrapped! They have kept pushing back the release dte of new material and the buzz track 'Take It Easy' faled to make an impact! After a brief tour in the UK and the US she has decided to work on another solo album, this will be the follow up to 'Miseducation'! Are you clad to see Lauryn Hill back to work? Source

Mario's Album Pushed Back Another Month!

Just as I was looking forward to a July 30/31 release date for his third album Go! it seems the album has been given a red light yet again and will now be released August 20 (UK) and August 21 (US)! Remember when it was due to be released back in November, then February, then April, then June, then July 31 and now it's August! Somehow I doubt this album will ever be released! Maybe due to the lack of interest in his new single! I don't know but the tracks that have leaked so far, I like! What do you think of this Mario fiasco? Source

NEW ARTWORK THURSDAY!

Loads of new artwork here for you to enjoy! Some did leak during last week but as you know by now I save them all for one major post on a Thursday! I first saw the Common album cover and the Yung Joc album cover at my great friend over at Vip's Design, and later found their respective single covers! I love the graphics used in Common's artwork! The artwork here for Simon Webbe is the iTunes cover and I am unclear where the 'Special Premium Edition' of 'Ms. Kelly' will be available at but what I do know is that she looks better close up! And this is a good sign as she kept to her word of this album being uptempo and fun (the main reason the album was pushed backed and the title change). For those of you who are not familiar with B&S (Blues & Soul) magane in the UK, you should! It is a fortnightly urban music magazine from the UK, with the perferct mix of your US & UK artist and is a regular magazine which I buy!
