Here is the BRAND NEW music video from Common and it features UK singing sensation Lily Allen! Not only does Lily appear on the track but she also features heavily in the video! Lily looks great and I can even go as far as saying that this is Common's best single to date! I love this new girl on the block and not JUST because she hails from the UK! She reminds many (including myself) to Lily Allen and although Lily sings her praises Kate does not like the comparison! This is her debut album called 'Made Of Bricks' and will be released August 6, 5 Weeks ahead of it's initial release date! Kate has decided to push forward the release date due to the success her single 'Foundations' has had! Having spent weeks and weeks inside the top 3 and set to reach the top spot this week this girl is going to go far and with titles like 'Shit Song', 'Mouthwash' and 'Dickhead' it is definitely one album to go out and buy! What do you make of the artwork? I think it matches her quirky and colourful style! Remember to give credit for my XCLUSIV back covers!
Yeterday I was hooked to my TV screen watching what could possibly be the best concert to ever grace this country! The concert was set up by Prince's William and Harry, who wanted to celebrate what would have been Princess Diana's 46th birthday! The line-up was great, the stadium was AMAZING and contrary to weather reports, not one single drop of rain fell! A few technical problem did occur, but we like that as it shows how LIVE it actually is! I have uploaded my fave performances, which have to be P. Diddy, Nelly Furtado, Lily Allen, Joss Stone and Kanye West! Anastacia made a surprise ppearance yesterday singing Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit Superstar from the musical 'Jesus Christ Superstar'! It was also great to see Kanye perform 'Stronger' live although he didn't perform the entire track! The worst performances have to be Fergie and Pharrell! Fergie (I think!) mimed her way through Glamorous and picked hr self up with an acceptable performance of 'Big Girls Don't Cry'! Pharrel, was just a mess (in my opinion) when he first came on stage nd sung Snoop's classic hit 'Drop It Like It's Hot' I though "Oh no! What is he doing?" the song choice for him was dreadful and then he went on to sing 'The Way She Moves' which was OK, but does he really think that his solo material is no good to not have sung one single solo song? He looked good, and like Fergie, that's about it! I have uploaded for your viewing pleasure some video's (even Fergies performance!) from yesterday's concert! If you use any please give me credit! :)

Although many people in the UK believe this to be her debut single, it is infact her second! Her debut single 'Caroline's A Victim' was released as a download only single back in February! The tune was perhaps too quirky for the music market but now Kate Nash is back wiv a tune that sticks in your head the first time you hear it! It reminds me and a lot of people of Lily Allen but this is no bad thing and even Lily Allen herself at this years Brit Awards ceremony said that 'Kate Nash is the one to llok out for in 2007' so there is no cat fighting between these two! This time 'Foundations' will be released physically on June 18 and I hopw will make a big impact on the UK charts, she just needs to start promoting now to make sure people know! What do you make of this new UK talent? I really like her! And I LOVE this song!
There's no two ways about it! This guy is gonna be HUGE!! It's been a while since I have done an 'Introducing...' post so here is my first one in April! MARK RONSON! He became a regular at downtown hip-hop spots and made his name as a DJ on the New York club scene in 1993. He was soon one of the most respected DJs and was being called on for celebrity private parties. Ronson is known for his diverse, genre-spanning selection. His first album 'Here Comes The Fuzz' was released in 2003 and was a critically acclaimed success that featured artists of all genres. Ronson has continued producing records for many of the top artists in the world of music. In 2004, Ronson took the next step and formed his own record label, Allido Records, a subsidiary of SONY BMG and J Records. The first artist he signed to Allido was rapper Rhymefest, most well-known for winning the Grammy for co-writing 'Jesus Walks". He produced multiple songs on the albums of singers Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, and Robbie Williams. Ronson's second album 'Version' due for release in the UK on April 16 and includes other covers of a diverse selection of rock & pop songs, I have uploaded the single 'Stop Me' (a cover of The Smith's song) which features Daniel Merriweather, along with 'Oh My God' (a cover of Kaiser Chief's song) which features none other than Lily Allen, and finally the THIRD!!! song I have uploaded is a cover of Britney's 'Toxic'!!!
