Gwen has chosen 'Now That You Got It' as her fourth and possibly last single from her 'Sweet Escape' album and she has re-worked what was already a great song by adding the vocals of Damian Marley to the track! Gwen Stefani has admitted that she does want to have more children but does not want it to get in the way of her No Doubt reunon which is set for 2008, so she has vowed put her baby plans on hold so that she can concentrate on the No Doubt reunion despite admitting that her commitments as a mother as well as her solo career has created tension within the group! In other Gwen news, it has been confirmed that Sean Kingston will be supporting Gwen on the latest leg of her tour! Are you excited for the No Doubt comeback? Please let UK Rep know!

Finally! After what feels like years! Leona Lewis has finished recording her debut album after winning the UK talent show 'The X Factor' in December last year! Simon Cowell promises that her debut record is as good as early Whitney or Mariah! These are very high compliments to Leona and in a recent interview Simon revealed that he didn't want to waste Leona's talent and release a mediocre record within two months and didn't care if the record took 2 years to make! The lead single from the album is called 'Bleeding Love' and was written by Ryan Tedder who has worked with Jennifer Lopez & Lil' Jon and was recorded while Leona was out in LA. Her album is still untitled and will be released November 5 in the UK and early 2008 in the US, making her the FIRST UK talent show winner to cross the border and conquer the US market! How excited are you for Leona's new material?

Gnarls Barkley were set to release their sophomore album in December but has had to be pushed back because Danger Mouse is too busy working on a new project with a band called Underground Animals to promote the record! Expect the second Gnarls Barkley record to be released in 2008! I cannot wait for their sophomore and am happy to hear that they are keen to promote the record! Are you lloking forward to the new Gnarls Barkley record?

Maroon 5 have chosen 'Won't Go Home Without You' as their next single and have asked fans to help with making their new video! The band will be featuring home movies sent in by fans. This is what the band had to say; "Friends, lovers, family, pets, musical instruments... you name it. Whatever and whomever you love, we want to include footage of it in our video. This is going to be a tribute to you and your life stories wherever they're happening around the world. Got any home videos of us in concert? Send them in too. Be creative, have fun, and spread the love. Thanks a lot." OK! It's an interesting concept for a music video! I just hope it doesn't look cheap! After the high budget video of 'Wake Up Call' I am a bit dissapointed! I am happy with the single choice though! What do you think?

Beyonce Knowles has revealed that her respectful attitude towards fans came as a result of an encounter with Will Smith. Beyonce was thrilled when she got the chance to meet Will Smith when she was 15! Beyonce noted how devoted Will Smith was to his supporters, and vowed to act the same way if she ever found fame. "We were the last people he met, and I said 'I don't care if I ever get that famous, I will always be like him'." I can speak from personal experience and say that Beyonce is devoted to her fans and when I had the privellege of meeting her once she really listend to me and enjoyed listening to her fans! So for that, I say Thanks Will Smith!

This is a BRAND NEW track from the mogul behind 'Konvict Musik' Akon in which he apologises for his appaling behaviour of late such as stimulating sex on stage with a 14 year old girl causing Verizon to pull out of sponsoring Gwen Stefani's tour and chucking a fan into the audience at a recent gig! I feel this guy is genuinely sorry otherwise he would not have recorded this track! What do you make of the track? 'Candyman' the third single to be lifted off of 'Back To Basic' which is currently doing great on the charts worldwide! Everyone is loving 'Candyman' at the moment - me included! But I wanted to turn your attention to her second 'Back To Basics' album 'Hurt' this is a great powerful song, but didn't relly set the charts alight and was veryunderrated so just to remind you of it, and in case you were missing the video from your cllection here it is in GREAT quality!

New Music Out In The Shops This Week!

There are only two albums getting relesed in the UK this week, one is from an American artist and the other is from a UK group. The first one is Omarion's latest album which has been available on import (from the US) since the end of December but gets its official UK CD release this week. The second is by 'Kaiser Chiefs' called 'Yours Truly Angy Mob' and features the brilliant new single 'Ruby'. My personal favourite however out of the two has to be Omarion's album for the simple fact that his new song 'Ice Box' is amazin and i already own most of '21' and can safely say this deserves to do well!!! So if you live in the UK please make '21' Omarion's first album in the UK Top 10 Album Chart.

There are a massive 9 singles getting released this week in the UK. Among the line up are Take That with their second single 'Shine', The Fray with 'How To Save A Life' and and Gwen Stefani 'The Sweet Escape'. My personal favourite is The Fray with 'How To Save A Life'.

US

As physical CD singles don't get released in America this section of the weekly post will include the Albums that are getting released in that week. This week there is only one new album coming out in America and it is by a British singer who goes by the name of MIKA and if you live in the UK you would have already heard his debut single 'Grace Kelly' which has been UK number one for FIVE weeks! He decides to take his debut album stateside, and in a week which very little is released it could do well. If you live in America make sure you buy a copy as i have one and it is truly a masterpiece. You could be led to believe that this is a greatest hits!
