This is a MUST-SEE video for all you Kano fans out there! Here we have a BRAND NEW Kano freestyle where he is as raw as raw can get with no production hype! This just highlights wht a tlaent this young man is and is not for one second over-rated! It is also great to see that on the UK iTunes stor his BRAND NEW video with Craig David is number 4 in the Most Downloaded Videos so hopefully when the track comes out it will STORM the charts and propell Kano to the top where he belongs! This is a BRAND NEW feature to the blog where every month I post an ENTIRE album up for download! I usually do not like posting albums but I will make the exception for one a month! The idea for this feature came after I finished listening to Kano's BRAND NEW album 'London Town' and couldn't decide which tracks to post for you as they are ALL great and top top tunes especially the track featuring Kate Nash! You will be able to find the link for the download above or at the top of sidebar for the rest of this month and then in September there will be a new album up for download! Remember the purpose of this is to help promote an album and is not set up to replace buying the CD! Tinchy Stryder is another UK grime artist making it BIG this summer with his second commercial single 'Something About Your Smile' taken from his debut studio album 'Star In The Hood' which is due for release August 13! Here is the OFFICIAL album cover:
I like the album cover, it's a good shot of him! I have known aout this guy for a few years now, but now he is gearing up for commercil success alongside artists like Lethal Bizzle, Kano and Dizzee Rascal! I have uploaded two tracks from his album! 'Breakaway' which as his first OFFICIAL single and his new single 'Something About Your Love' which is one of my favourite tunes around at the moment! I also leave you with the video! I know many of you have been wanting me as a leader of UK blogs to post this mammoth UK tune! Unfortunately the full track has not leaked contrary to some reports! I have uploaded with help from my great friend from VIP's Design a 1:40 snippet of the studio version and a full length acoustic version (the video of which you can watch above)!!! The acoustic version is great! This could possibly ecome one of the greatest UK tracks of 2007! I am looking forward to the full studio version leaking and hope the video is released before I go away on holiday! Not many other blogs will feature Kano, which is a shame because he is (in my opinion) the best rapper/MC that the UK has, but as I am from the UK and am dedicated to bringing you BRAND NEW music then I will cover all Kano news here on this site! What do you make of the track! I am really eager to know what you think of he tracks as well as Craig's new look (no hair!), I love Kano's natural flow!
This is great! I love UK grime and with Dizzee and Bizzle on the scenegrime is going up! This is the brand new single from Lethal B's upcoming sophomore album 'Back To Bizznizz' which is out July 23rd! Remember not many people overseas are aware of UK grime and I intend to introduce it to you as it is a UK genre of music I really like! So please let me know your thoughts on the track?
I have decided to add a bit of information to this post seeing as the great response I have recieved about her music! I am glad to see you guys enjoy her music and this is why I urge you to comment on my posts, so that I get to know your tastes as well as mine and know what to post in the future! Lisa Maffia originally came to the public's attention as the main female member of So Solid Crew. Whilst in So Solid, the singer notched up 5 top 20 hits, including a platinum selling single 21 Seconds and a platinum selling album They Dont Know. Her own first solo single 'All Over' was released May 2003 and reached the number 2 spot in the UK singles chart, which is such a high accolade! Her first solo album titled 'First Lady' was released in August 2003, and won a MOBO award in the Best UK garage Act category. Lisa was also nominated for 2 other MOBO awards Best UK Act and Best UK Newcomer. In her time since recording her debut album she has set up her own record label called Maffia Recordz whose signed acts include Flirta D and Romeo. She is currently in Magaluf promoting herself taking a well deserved rest from recording her Dancehall influenced sophomore album due out later this year! Okay guys, the logic behind this post is because I was senttwo new UK Grime treack (Dizzee Rascal & Lethal Bizzle) so I though the blog world was lacking any real love for UK Grime, so what wiv me being called UK Rep, I thought it only right to inform you guys a lot more on UK Grime! Some of you may already be aware of it, others may not, and for this reason I would like to hear your thoughts and comments on what you hear! Also expect very very soon a Dizzee Rascal track featuring none other than LIly Allen off of his new album 'Maths & English' out May!
