Do you remember a few weeks ago I posted my very own UNOFFICIAL cover (above) to Jill Scott's new album 'The Real Thing' well now the OFFICIAL cover (below) has leaked and it seems as thought they have seen my artwork, liked what they saw and decided to use it! So I guess that UK Rep has designed the OFFICAL album cover for Jill Scott's new album! I cannot wait to buy this is the shop and see my very own creation in the stores September 24/5! What do you guys think of this? I think it is AMAZING!!! So I plan to make more UNOFFICIAL covers in the hope that somebody might see them and decide to use them as happened in this case!
Also, the album will be released in a Deluxe Edition and the cover is absolutely gorgeous! I love the photo of her? What do you think?
I know I normally leave all the BRAND NEW OFFICAL artwork for Wednesday's but I could not wait a whole week to show you the OFFICIAL album cover for Will.i.am's 'Songs About Girls' album due for release September 25! It is still unknown whether the album will be released as a CD or just on download release! The reason behind the uncertainty is that Will.i.am has said that "If I have an album filled with songs about girls, what happens if tomorrow I write another song about a girl?", he explains. "So something that started off just with 15 songs, in the next ten years could have 100 songs. Having 12 songs on a record? That day is done." So it seems that the CD format limits the creativity of Will.i.am and therefore a download ould seem the better option for him! I do however wish he did release it on CD as I love buying albums and looking at the artwork! If he does record more tracks, then I suggest he release 'Songs About Girls Vol. 2, 3, 4 or even 5'! Infact I reckon a series of albums would be a great idea! He has already said in a recent interview that he plans to release another album in February so this could actually be the case!
Also, remember I made some covers for this album myself? If not click here to view them! Let me know what you think of those covers in comparison to this one? It is interesting to see that they used the same photo I did!
OK! So once again UK Rep has delivered a shed load of BRAND NEW OFFICIAL artwork for you! I am absoultely loving the Booty Luv album cover at the moment as well as the gorgeous Mya and Beyonce! This is now the third time I have made my own album cover for an album due to be released soon! Today I have made two covers for Omarion & Bow Wow's upcoming 'Face Off' album! I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the two covers and although there is little difference in the two I would like to know which one you prefer! It will be interesting to see what the OFFICIAL album cover will look like! But I have a feeling it's gonna bea while since we get to see it as the album is released December 4! After getting such a great response from the Will.i.am covers that I made a few days back I decided to give it a go once more and this time create two album covers for Jill Scott's upcoming album 'The Real Thing' due for a release September 25'! I like Joe Budden and have been waiting for his new album 'The Growth' since... wait for it... 2004! Yes you heard me right, 2004! His highly anticipated follow up to his 'Joe Budden' album is finally set for release later this year and here we have a new track which feature the vocals of Robin Thicke who has ben highly influenced by T-Pain and Akon on this track! Tinchy Stryder is another UK grime artist making it BIG this summer with his second commercial single 'Something About Your Smile' taken from his debut studio album 'Star In The Hood' which is due for release August 13! Here is the OFFICIAL album cover:
I like the album cover, it's a good shot of him! I have known aout this guy for a few years now, but now he is gearing up for commercil success alongside artists like Lethal Bizzle, Kano and Dizzee Rascal! I have uploaded two tracks from his album! 'Breakaway' which as his first OFFICIAL single and his new single 'Something About Your Love' which is one of my favourite tunes around at the moment! I also leave you with the video! Loads of ne covers for you as always! I would like more of your feedback please! I go to a lot of effort every Thursday to find all the latest BRAND NEW album/single artwork! My favourite is KT Tunstall's new album cover! Although her music is not what I usually listen to , I do like her and am really looking forward to hearing her new material! The Beyonce one is just 'Blah', a new promo picture would have been better, or even a great video still! I am also great to XCLUSIVLY reveal to you the cover of UK Grime artist Kano's new album 'London Town' due for release 3 September. or those of you who have not heard of Kano, be sure to check him out and I will post his new single, which features Craig David and is due to leak soon! I also think that Jennifer Lopez looks gorgeous in the cover for her new single! Which one is you fave? Which one do you not like so much?
It's been a while since I posted back covers, partly due to not very many new ones out and partly due to the fact people were stealing them from me! These are UK Rep Xclusivs and no other blog post back covers, but since I started they steal mine! So a note to all the bloggers that steal covers from me: Please don't! If you ask me, I will of course say yes! As long as you give me credit!'. So back to T.I.'s back cover! Here in the UK, this is the cover that has been chosen over the other one of the double one! I woulda prefered the double one but this is stil great, I love the businessman feeling to it! Great artwork T.I.!
So, loads of new artwork today! I abslutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Timbaland single cover, they both lok great (Timbo and Keri) also B5's new album cover is slicker than slick! Lumidee looks suprisingly gorgeous on the cover of her new UK single! And of course UK artist Cleo, who I am supporting is looking every inch the star she is on the cover of her new single!
