The tracklist of Will.i.am's BRAND NEW solo album out September 24 (UK) & 25 (US) has been released into iTunes and here is the tracklisting! Are you looking forward to it! I sure am! There are no collaborations on this album but he will release a collaborative record in February 2008!
Here is the BRAND NEW music video from Common and it features UK singing sensation Lily Allen! Not only does Lily appear on the track but she also features heavily in the video! Lily looks great and I can even go as far as saying that this is Common's best single to date! For those of you who do not have the mp3 of the song then you can download it from the link above the video! So now I would like to know what you think of the track and the video!
This is the latest track after 'Can't Tell Me Nothing' and 'Stronger' to leak from Kanye West's upcoming 'Gradution' album due out September 10 (UK) and 11 (US)! This BRAND NEW track is called 'Homecoming' and features the vocals of Colplay's frontman Chris Martin! I really like the mid-tempo feel of the track and am expecting BIG things from this album and I cannot wait for the album version of 'Stronger' to leak as in a recent UK interview Kanye revealed he asked Timbaland to redo the drum beat of 'Stronger' for the album so I am definitely waiting to see what Timo has delivered! Now this is somewhat of a UK Rep Xclusiv because I have not seen ANYBODY post this BRAND NEW track by Eve! Yesterday I bought her 'Tambourine' single (you see I do support the artists lol!) and thi track called 'Dance Floor' featuring Mashonda was the B-Side and I was surprised to see that it has not been psted on any blog! So I could not keep this track from you guys and I thought that you should enjoy it! I really like it and I feel that Eve and Mashonda's vocals merge nicely and I am uncertain whether the track will make the final cut for her new album 'Here I Am' due out October 16! According to wikipedia it will appear but we will just have to wait and see! What do you ake of the track? Are you glad posted it? I know I normally leave all the BRAND NEW OFFICAL artwork for Wednesday's but I could not wait a whole week to show you the OFFICIAL album cover for Will.i.am's 'Songs About Girls' album due for release September 25! It is still unknown whether the album will be released as a CD or just on download release! The reason behind the uncertainty is that Will.i.am has said that "If I have an album filled with songs about girls, what happens if tomorrow I write another song about a girl?", he explains. "So something that started off just with 15 songs, in the next ten years could have 100 songs. Having 12 songs on a record? That day is done." So it seems that the CD format limits the creativity of Will.i.am and therefore a download ould seem the better option for him! I do however wish he did release it on CD as I love buying albums and looking at the artwork! If he does record more tracks, then I suggest he release 'Songs About Girls Vol. 2, 3, 4 or even 5'! Infact I reckon a series of albums would be a great idea! He has already said in a recent interview that he plans to release another album in February so this could actually be the case!

That's right! Omarion has done yet another HOT collaboration! But this time it is not with Bow Wow but with new chick on the block Kat DeLuna! The two have paired up for the track 'Cut Off Time' which has been recorded for the soundtrack to upcoming move 'Bring The Noise'! It's a great Timbaland produced track and you can even hear Timbo in the background in the chorus and I love the uptempo feel of the track! I am happy with the new material by Omarion which is leaking but am a bit gutted that he did not release a third singl from '21'! After hearing the album again last night I feel that 'Beg For It', 'Electric' or 'Obsession' could have easily been another hit for Omarion! I really thought this album would take off especially after the success that was 'Ice Box'! Anyway, enough from me (lol!), what do you make of the track? I am really looking forwrd to hearing your opinions!
This is expected to be Madonna's first single from her upcoming new album due for release later this year! It has already been confirmed that Madonna will perform her new single at the VMA's on September 9! Will it be 'The Beat Goes On'? I sure hope so! I have never been a fan of Madonna but it seems that Pharrell is doing a great job with Madonna's sound as this track was produced by Pharrell! So, what do you make of this track? Rate it? Kanye West has said that Justin Timberlake is his "biggest inspiraton and his biggest competition"! Kanye is quoted in the October issue of 'XXL' as saying "He's the only other person that gets an across-the-board response and respect level black radio, white radio. If Justin hadn't come out and killed the game, I can't say that my album, singles and videos would be on the same level that they're on. We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day." Despite being number 1 in the UK at the moment he claims that he's "never cared about being No. 1." and prefers his music to connect with people rather than compete for record sales! Is Kanye getting a bit too big for his boots? Or is it just a slight dig at 50 Cent, saying that they are on the same level and getting to number 1 does not determine success! What's your opinion on Kanye? I'd love to hear it!
In an exclusive interview for BBC 1Xtra recently, R. Kelly revealed that he has made thirty... yes THIRTY chapters for his 'Trapped In The Closet' series! Is he going a bit over the top now with this story, at first there were only six, ten it reached twelve and he is now releasing Chapters 13-22 but it seems he is not content wth just 22 and has done more!!! I mean seriously, how much more can this story go on for? I am still eager to hear them all but I would also like the mp3's of the chapters to be released on a CD and not just on DVD! So Kels, if you're listening (lol) please release all thirty or so chapters on a CD! Are you looking forward to his next chapters?
Amy Winehouse has left rehab for a second time on Sunday (August 19)! This is not a good sign! I was really happy that she went back to rehab because I do fear for her health and do not want to lose her music and I want her to be healthy enough to record new material! Winehouse walked out of 'The Causeway Clinic' in Britain on on following a series of screaming matches with her husband Blake! I really urge Amy to go BACK into rehab and I don't wanna hear her say 'No! No! No!' (lol)! What do you think Amy should do? What do you think about the news that she has left rehab again? Is Mary J. Blige pregnant? Well, acording to some reports the answer is yes!!! It seems that Mary who is 36 years old, and her husband/manager Kendu Isaacs are expecting their first child as early as early 2008! A close family member has revealed that they have been trying for a baby for nearly a year, having got married in December 2003, and have finally succeeded! Mary is already stepmother to Kendu's three kids from a previous relationship! I am really happy to hear this news and cannot wait to see te first pics of what I'm sure will be a great looking child! I was hoping that she wuld release an album later this year as planned but I think that her new album has to be pushed back for the sake of her unborn child! Congrats Mary! Kanye West has scored his very first UK #1 single with the track 'Stronger' which knocked Robyn's 'With Every Heartbeat' from the top spot!
Mario made a respectable peak position at #21 with his BRAND NEW single 'How Do I Breathe'! This is not very bad at all considering that the song has not been played that much here in the UK and he has done absolutely NO promotion to help the record! Let's just hope that by the time the album drops in October we see some promotion! Eve has also made an intersting appearance in the UK Singles Chart at #35! Again this is good because she has done NO promotion and the video I have only seen once on UK TV! The single is physically out this week so hopefully it will creep up a few places on next weeks chart! Although I'm sure that this is not a postition Eve will be happy with after a 5 year break!
Their previous single 'Cupid's Chokehold' was one of the BIGGEST selling singles of the year so far and it seems that their follow up 'Clothes Off' will follow in its footsteps having entered the chart at #8 on downloads alone and a week ahead of physical release! It is a great track and makes me wonder whether Patrick Stump should permanently join Gym Class Heroes as every track he features on becomes a huge hit!
Having been released to iTunes this week 'Ayo Technology' has proved a major HIT here in the UK with it reaching #23 in the UK Singles chart on downloads alone two weeks ahead of physical release (27 August)! It is amazing what power iTunes can have on the singles chart! I really hope this becomes a huge hit for him as the production from JT and Timbo is amazing and should be recognised! lol!
OK, let me let you into a little secret, my fave artist at the moment is the FANTASTIC Kanye West! With the release of 'Graduation' getting nearer I have re-discovered his two previous masterpieces 'The College Dropout' and 'Late Registration' and am listening to them non-stop! Here we have Kanye on the cover of 'XXL' magazine looking every bit the superstar that he is! What do you make of the way Kanye looks on this cover? Ray L(avender) Change My Way ... There has been virtualy NOTHING happening in the world of music right now apart from this track! This is the latest track to leak from Ray L(avender)'s upcoming debut album titled 'X-Rayted' due to be released later on this year! This is such a smooth joint and if he does the right promotio I reckon this man could be the next Akon or T-Pain, even though he is on their label! lol! What do you guys make of this new joint? Nelly is getting close to completing his upcoming album 'Brass Knuckles' which is due for release September 18, but somehow I think the release date will be pushed back just based on the fact that there has been no music video yet and it is still unclear whether 'Cut It Out' (a track which I don't like!) or this one 'Wadsyaname' will be the lead single! I abolutely love this new track and beleive Nelly to be back on form after the dissapointment that 'Cut It Out' was! What do you make of the new track? Rate it? Or hate it? Kanye West is all over the UK at the moment having presented the hit late night TV show here in the UK called 'The FridayNight Project' yesterday and aloyesterday he appeared on Tim Westwood's radio show to EXCLUSIVLY play snippets of tracks from his new album 'Graduation' due to hit stores in the UK September 10! The first track you hear is called 'Brother' and is a dedication to Jay-Z and if you watch the video Kanye talks more about the song! And from what Kanye allows us to hear the track sounds PURE FIYAH! The next track that Kanye allows Westwood to play is called 'Champion' which he is already performing LIVE in the UK, so expect a HQ video from 'The Album Chart Show' to be posted on this very site later on today! And it goes without saying that 'Champion' is gonna be a sure hit for Kanye as it seems he will release the joint as his next single! Watch the video! Enjoy! And please let me know what you think!
This is now the third time I have made my own album cover for an album due to be released soon! Today I have made two covers for Omarion & Bow Wow's upcoming 'Face Off' album! I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the two covers and although there is little difference in the two I would like to know which one you prefer! It will be interesting to see what the OFFICIAL album cover will look like! But I have a feeling it's gonna bea while since we get to see it as the album is released December 4! This is the first single to be lifted off the collaborative album 'Face Off' due for release December 4! This is a great track and it is great to hear new material from both of these guys and what makes it better is the fact that they have recorded a WHOLE ALBUM together and i this lead track and 'Let Me Hold You' is anything to go by then it will defnitely be the album to close off 2007! Will you be buying their album? I defintely will so please let me know what you make of the track? Happy to see these guys working together?
I know I posted the OFFICIAL music video like five minutes ago! But guess what? Nicole has already performed the track LIVE on the American TV programme 'So You Think You Can Dance?' and it was an AMAZING performance! She really stepped her game up for this performance! And the choreography that is missed from the music video appears in the LIVE performance! So I love love love this first performance of the single!
Also, a bit of confusion as to when the album will be released, many of us were under the impression it came out October 16 but at the end of the video clip Crap Deeley... sorry I mean Cat Deeley says it comes out November 6! Oh well I guess only time will tell! Please let me know what you think of her performance!
I know I said yesterday that I thought Wyclef & Akon was the HOTTEST collabo of the year but I know have changed my mind and prefer this track! The vocals of Twista & T-Pain merge so perfectly! After the mess that I think 'Give It Up' with Pharrell was, Twista has really pickd himself up and his fast paced rapping for which he i famous for, mixes so well with T-Pain, who in this track speeds up his vocal and does it so well! It seems to me that T-Pain is trying to compete with Akon and see how many tracks he can feature on! lol! What do you make of this track? Remember all comments are greatly appreciated by UK Rep! Hmmmm?!?! Mixed feelings about this video! The song is great and there's no denying that, but now let's talk about the video! The beginning is a complete copy of Bey's 'Ring The Alarm' and the rest of the video sees Nicole switch her sexiness up to 110% but at times it backfires and she don't look that great! Now, the chemistry between T.I. and Nicole is sure to start some rumous that the couple are dating.... Hell why don't I start that rumour! I predict that they have been seing eachother! Am I wrong? Maybe! But it's good to know that UK Rep MAY have told you first! lol! Please share your thoughts on this videos! All your videos are greatly appreciated and I love reading them!
