Kanye West has said that Justin Timberlake is his "biggest inspiraton and his biggest competition"! Kanye is quoted in the October issue of 'XXL' as saying "He's the only other person that gets an across-the-board response and respect level black radio, white radio. If Justin hadn't come out and killed the game, I can't say that my album, singles and videos would be on the same level that they're on. We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day." Despite being number 1 in the UK at the moment he claims that he's "never cared about being No. 1." and prefers his music to connect with people rather than compete for record sales! Is Kanye getting a bit too big for his boots? Or is it just a slight dig at 50 Cent, saying that they are on the same level and getting to number 1 does not determine success! What's your opinion on Kanye? I'd love to hear it!

In an exclusive interview for BBC 1Xtra recently, R. Kelly revealed that he has made thirty... yes THIRTY chapters for his 'Trapped In The Closet' series! Is he going a bit over the top now with this story, at first there were only six, ten it reached twelve and he is now releasing Chapters 13-22 but it seems he is not content wth just 22 and has done more!!! I mean seriously, how much more can this story go on for? I am still eager to hear them all but I would also like the mp3's of the chapters to be released on a CD and not just on DVD! So Kels, if you're listening (lol) please release all thirty or so chapters on a CD! Are you looking forward to his next chapters?

Amy Winehouse has left rehab for a second time on Sunday (August 19)! This is not a good sign! I was really happy that she went back to rehab because I do fear for her health and do not want to lose her music and I want her to be healthy enough to record new material! Winehouse walked out of 'The Causeway Clinic' in Britain on on following a series of screaming matches with her husband Blake! I really urge Amy to go BACK into rehab and I don't wanna hear her say 'No! No! No!' (lol)! What do you think Amy should do? What do you think about the news that she has left rehab again?

Is Mary J. Blige pregnant? Well, acording to some reports the answer is yes!!! It seems that Mary who is 36 years old, and her husband/manager Kendu Isaacs are expecting their first child as early as early 2008! A close family member has revealed that they have been trying for a baby for nearly a year, having got married in December 2003, and have finally succeeded! Mary is already stepmother to Kendu's three kids from a previous relationship! I am really happy to hear this news and cannot wait to see te first pics of what I'm sure will be a great looking child! I was hoping that she wuld release an album later this year as planned but I think that her new album has to be pushed back for the sake of her unborn child! Congrats Mary!
