UK REP'S NEWS - 02 JULY - CONCERT FOR DIANA SPECIAL!

Yeterday I was hooked to my TV screen watching what could possibly be the best concert to ever grace this country! The concert was set up by Prince's William and Harry, who wanted to celebrate what would have been Princess Diana's 46th birthday! The line-up was great, the stadium was AMAZING and contrary to weather reports, not one single drop of rain fell! A few technical problem did occur, but we like that as it shows how LIVE it actually is! I have uploaded my fave performances, which have to be P. Diddy, Nelly Furtado, Lily Allen, Joss Stone and Kanye West! Anastacia made a surprise ppearance yesterday singing Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit Superstar from the musical 'Jesus Christ Superstar'! It was also great to see Kanye perform 'Stronger' live although he didn't perform the entire track! The worst performances have to be Fergie and Pharrell! Fergie (I think!) mimed her way through Glamorous and picked hr self up with an acceptable performance of 'Big Girls Don't Cry'! Pharrel, was just a mess (in my opinion) when he first came on stage nd sung Snoop's classic hit 'Drop It Like It's Hot' I though "Oh no! What is he doing?" the song choice for him was dreadful and then he went on to sing 'The Way She Moves' which was OK, but does he really think that his solo material is no good to not have sung one single solo song? He looked good, and like Fergie, that's about it! I have uploaded for your viewing pleasure some video's (even Fergies performance!) from yesterday's concert! Amy Winehouse To Sing 007 Theme!

It has been reported this week that David Arnold, the composer of the three most recent Bond films is a huge fan of the Jazz singer's voice and says her album is the best record of last year, and would love her to sing the theme for the new untitled film due to be released in 2008! Source

Spice Girls Set A Date!

After years of speculation it looks set that the girls will re-unite for a world tour and a possible single. They will officially launch their plans at a press conference next Thursday (28/06). A memo has also leaked recently telling the girls not to fall pregnant as this will delay the process! Emma Bunton is about to have a baby and Posh has three kids already but wants a girl! Mel B has just had a baby and read more about that a few stories down! Geri had Bluebell not so long ago and the only member not to fall pregnant is Melanie C who's solo career is failing to succeed! Bad Boy Diddy Is Still A Fan of Cassie!

There have been many stories recently claiming that Cassie has been dropped from Bad Boy Records by music mogul (P) Diddy! At his recent video shoot for 'Through The Pain' Diddy assured us that Cassie has not been dropped and has been working a lot recently with Kanye West and Pharrell! And she is even set to appear in Kanye West's upcoming video for 'Stronger'. Expect a new album from Cassie later this year. Source

Louis Walsh Still Has The X Factor!

For those of you outside the UK this story may not appeal to you as you probably won't know who Louis Walsh is or what the X Factor is! X Factor is Simon Cowell's UK version of American Idol where the competition is open to solo artists as well as groups! A few months back Louis Walsh was sensationally sacked by Simon Cowell throught the media and chose Danni Minogue and Britney's friend Brian Friedman as his replacements, it turns out however that after the first few auditions, Brian felt uncomfortable in his role and therefore Simon has asked Louis to come back to join the judging panel! Louis Walsh has said he is very happy about his return and says his relationship with Simon is 'Love/Hate' and cannot wait to start auditions in Manchester on Monday (25/06). Source

Eddie Murphy IS The Father Of Mel B's Baby!

After Eddie Murphy denied that he was the unborn baby's father when he split with Mel B (32), Mel B decided to take a DNA test to prove that he IS the father and should stick to his responsibilties! She gave birth to Angel Iris Murphy Brown in April and listed Murphy as the father on the child's birth certificate despite not getting the DNA results until this week! It looks as though Eddie has some explaining to do! Source

First, up is LL Cool J, the picture below is the rumoured album cover, yet the album name is not quite known it could bee 'Bump This', 'Exit 13', 'Todd Smith Pt 2' or even 'Back To Cool' so the mystery continues on the album title, but what we do know is that LL Cool J has worked with 50 Cent on this track which also features Lil' Scrappy the song is called 'Whatcha Hood Like'. It's alright never been a massiv fan of LL myself although I did love 'Control Myself'. Make of it what you will but please let me know!

Next up is Diddy (or P. Diddy as he's known in the UK) with the fourth single to be lifted off of 'Press Paly' called 'Wanna Move' and features my girl Ciara and my boy Big Boi on vocals!!! I like this tune and am really happy to see 'Last Night' doing amazingly on the UK charts!!! 50 Cent is another artist that has recently changed his album title, it was due to be called 'Before I Self Destruct' but instead wants that to be the title of his final album (his fourth and next album) and has now called his third album 'Curtis' (his first name for those who don't know!). This song is alright, but I somehow can't see it being commercial enough for a single!!! I could be wrong and please do tell me what you think! The song is called 'Straight to the Bank'.

I've had this song since the beginning of the year, but very little was know about it and I disn't pay it too much attention but now the artwork is released, and the video which you can watch HERE I dig every track Akon is on and this one is no different, akon sings the hook line 'We Takin' Over' which is also the title of the track! OK so this is like their fifth album , but I don't know who they are, I only paid attention to this track because it features Outkast and I love their unique sound! The track is pretty hot and I do like listening to it! 'International Players Anthem' is not the lead single, but a great album track nonetheless so enjoy and make sure to tel me (UK REP) what you think!
