Here is another post from my daily 'Flashback' posts, where everyday for the foreseeable future, I will post a track from back in the day, but the artist will always come from the UK! So I thought today I'm going to for another UK girlband, but this time with an urban/garage twist! The band in question are of course Mis-Teeq. With Alesha's solo project set to sky rocket very shortly with the long-awaited/delayed release of her album 'Fired Up' in September. As well as Sabrina (now under the alias 'Puma Washington') releasing her new album 'Rocket Zone' later this year! Anyway back to Mis-Teeq, these ladies were the cream of UK garage music! I absolutely loved them and still do to be honest! They had huge success here in the UK as well as some success in the US with 'Scadolous'! The track I have posted here was their debut single 'Why' which was released in 2000 and reached a peak psition of 8 in the official UK charts, they later went on to have a number 2 with their next single!
